Retention period of your personal information

Personal information that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary. We will determine the period of retention based on the following criteria:

  • Behavioral information such as authentication status will be retained only during the web session.
  • Profile information such as name and email address, demographic information such as gender, education, birth date, preferences, and interests, phone number, language and country, job position, company name and size will be retained as long as the we need to provide you with our Sites and Applications services and 3 years after the end of the use of our Sites and Applications.
  • Conversational information such as messages, mails and calls information such as email address, phone number, location, call record, received from any of our marketing communication channel will be retained as long as the we need to provide you with our Sites and Applications services and 3 years after the end of the use of our Sites and Applications.
  • Transactional information will be retained 10 years after the end of the use of our Sites and Applications.

Security of your personal information

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are impenetrable.

You may also choose to remove the Application from your Facebook account by clicking on “Settings” in the toolbar and selecting “Application Settings” from the drop-down menu. Click the “x” next to the Application’s name, then click “remove” again to confirm the deletion.

Updating and accessing your personal information

You have the right to have any inaccurate personal data about you rectified and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to have any incomplete personal data about you completed.

In some circumstances you have the right to the erasure of your personal data. Those circumstances include: the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, you withdraw consent to consent-based processing, you object to the processing under certain rules of applicable data protection law, the processing is for direct marketing purposes; and the personal data have been unlawfully processed.
